Life happens in a spatio-temporal environment, the genome cannot escape it. Therefore, to further characterize the many functions of genomes, there is a need for determine its three-dimensional structure in time. Since the advent of the so-called Chromosome Conformation Capture experiments, a Next Generation Sequencing technology, we have been able to elucidate at unprecedented resolutions how the genome is organized.
In this meeting, we bring scientists in the 3DGenomics field who have developed their research in collaboration with the CNAG-CRG and who will present their latest research discoveries and ideas on the topic.
