The Sequencing Production team operates a fleet of short and long read sequencing platforms, including the Illumina NovaSeq6000 (3 units) and MiSeq (1 unit), as well as Oxford Nanopore Technologies' MinION Mk1 (2 units), MinION Mk1C (1 unit), GridION Mk1 (1 unit), and PromethION 24 (1 unit).

The instruments run around the clock to generate over 9 Tbases of sequence every day.
