At CNAG, our commitment to excellence is reflected in every step of our genome analysis. Generating reliable and high-quality data is fundamental to support scientific discovery and healthcare advancements. This dedication has once again been recognised with the renewal of our ENAC accreditation for ISO/IEC 17025 a commitment we have upheld since 2016.

ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is an international standard that specifies the requirements for the competence, impartiality, and consistent operation of testing and calibration laboratories. Compliance with this standard ensures that our methods and processes adhere to the highest levels of accuracy, reliability, and consistency. The accreditation strengthens CNAG’s position as a reference center in genomic sequencing and analysis, reaffirming the trust placed in us by researchers and healthcare professionals.

As part of our accredited operation, we perform Whole Genome Analysis, Exome or Custom Capture Analysis, Whole Genome Methylome Analysis, Stranded Total RNA Analysis, and Stranded mRNA Analysis—all using Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). These harmonised processes are supported by standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the repeatability and reproducibility of validated examinations.

This milestone is the result of the coordinated efforts of our Quality Manager, the Sequencing Unit, and the Bioinformatics Unit, Corporate Management, and many teams from CNAG, whose expertise and rigorous approach ensure compliance with demanding assessment criteria. Their work guarantees that our methodologies continue to meet the strictest quality standards, reinforcing the integrity of our results.

By maintaining ISO 17025 accreditation, CNAG continues to uphold its commitment to scientific rigor and continuous improvement, ensuring that our research contributes to innovation and strengthens collaborations within the global scientific community.
