BCN, 24 October, 2019.- EASI-Genomics second call for proposal has launched on the 15th of October. This is an ambitious project funded by the European Commission and coordinated by CNAG-CRG. It provides easy and seamless access to cutting-edge DNA sequencing technologies to researchers from academia and industry.
Researchers from countries worldwide are invited to submit project proposals involving the sequencing of biological samples and/or data analysis online.
This second call focuses on several topics such as the sequencing of ancient DNA from archaeological samples, the study of genetic material at the single-cell level and the mapping of gene expression within tissue samples. In addition, it offers the opportunity to study the modifications of genetic material and its organisation in human diseases. Eventually, it provides access to specific technology adapted for sequencing long nucleotide molecules.
EASI-Genomics represents a great opportunity for researchers to access high-end sequencing services delivered by European genomics infrastructures free-of-charge.
